VDS TEAMS: VDS' team structure for 2010 is slightly different than in previous years. This year VDS is inviting international teams with technology they have been working on for five, ten, fifteen years, maybe longer. Our aim is to help research groups find a way to showcase their advances in a complete vehicle so the value proposition in this work can be leveraged and make its way to market. To do this, we are opening up the interfaces in the ArchiMITes prototype. This means that in addition to research groups, anyone with a strong idea will be able to propose a solution, build a prototype and see it integrated and tested in the ArchiMITes platform. We hope that this new structure will allow a wider spectrum of teams to participate, learn and leverage this project.
